Literature Text

I haven’t been home for awhile,
I miss the fights we used to have--
It’s not the same here anymore.
I miss the smiles you’d return
to me smiling over you.
But you know I’m better off dead.
I can’t remember who I am,
& I smoke to save myself.
Pass time watching the sky obliterate before & for me.
The color is amazing.
My conscience falls but satisfaction’s guaranteed.
So much for innocence, I’m just nonconformist
Toward myself.
I stay up early & wake up to a death
That can’t save me.
It don’t matter cause everything’s the
Same
Like snow & rain alike.
I’ll be home for the world.
